Week 1:

This week I got to watch a tap being done on a water line. A tap is when another water line is added to an existing pipe. Taps are typically done for a few reasons this could be if there needs to be a fire hydrant put in or if there is a new house that needs water you would perform a tap to bring the water line to the house. This was also really interesting because I started to learn all of the products through working in the wear house and when I went on the tap I got to see the products that LB Water sells in use and how everything works together. This week my focus at work is working with the products that are sold at LB Water and starting to get familiar with them for sales purposes. At LB Water one of their main training tactics with employees is to know what you sell so you can help customers and give them exactly what they are. looking for.

 Week 8:  This week was a shorter week, we were off Monday and Tuesday for independence day. The rest of the week I just worked on finalizing my final PowerPoint. I want to practice presenting it to the employees that I work with to get feedback before presenting it to the board later this month. I also learned how to do credits and worked on that, orders and quotes, and transfers the rest of this week.

 Week 2: In week two I was still in the warehouse learning the products. This week I also got to get out of the office and warehouse and I got to experience a vault-setting water meter. This experience by far was very interesting to see, I also learned that LB Water Ebensburg is the only location to make vaults. The vault market is very big and LB Water Ebensburg also is the only location to make meter pits which are in high demand. So this was an experience that I got to watch that not a lot of people get to see every day. The purpose of these vaults is to protect the water meter systems and to allow authorities to read and repair water meter services with easy access, there are many different types, sizes, and configurations that are used.
